Writing a promotion page that recruits affiliates takes real effort: the offer, the rate, the reason someone should promote you rather than a competitor. Doing that again for every language you would like to reach is where most merchants stop, and reasonably so.

So Afflixo translates it for you. You write the page once, in whichever language you are comfortable with. When an affiliate opens it under a language prefix, for example /zh-TW/domain/your-slug, they get your page in that language. There is no extra charge and nothing to switch on.

What gets translated

Everything a visitor reads on the promotion page: the body you wrote in the editor, the SEO title and description, and every FAQ question and answer. Your slug, images, and links stay as they are.

What happens when you edit

Translation is keyed on the text itself. Change a paragraph and it becomes a different piece of text, so the next visitor in another language gets a fresh translation of the new wording rather than a cached copy of the old one. Paragraphs you did not touch keep the translation they already had, which is why an edit is quick rather than a full re-translation.

Translation also happens on demand, not ahead of time. The first person to open your page in a language that nobody has requested yet can briefly see your source text while the job runs. It settles on its own.

Where it stops

Two limits worth knowing before you rely on this.

First, not every language in the picker has a translation engine behind it. Afflixo lists more locales than the translator supports, and the ones it does not support fall back to English rather than showing a half-translated page. If a particular market matters to you, check your page under that language prefix before you promote it there.

Second, this is machine translation. It is good enough for an affiliate to understand your offer and decide whether to join, and it is not the same thing as copy written by someone who sells in that market. For the markets that actually drive your programme, a page written by a person will read better and convert better. Automatic translation is what covers the long tail you would otherwise never write at all.

Who this is for

Merchants who want affiliates in more than one region without maintaining a page per region. You keep one page as the single source, and it is readable everywhere else. If you are ready to try it, sign up as a merchant and write your promotion page once.
