I have lost count of how many affiliate and referral platforms we have wired into client sites. Post Affiliate Pro, FirstPromoter, Tapfiliate, a few custom in-house things. Every time the shape was the same: a large dashboard, a subdomain per brand, multi-level affiliate trees, and integration docs that never quite matched the product we were looking at.

The parts nobody used

Some of those tools are genuinely powerful. But across our clients, mostly e-commerce, SaaS, and small marketplaces, the same thing kept happening: they used a thin slice of the product. Referral links, cookie tracking, one commission rule, and payouts. The custom subdomains, the ten-tier trees, the A/B testing on referral pages went untouched. And the integration was always heavier than the job required: a script, webhooks, our own duplicate-order checks, a dashboard we had to build anyway because theirs did not show what the client asked for.

So we built our own

We are developers. When the same thing annoys you enough times you eventually go and fix it. What we wanted was short:

  • One path per brand. No subdomains. The program lives at /domain/yoursite, which is easy to explain to a client and easy to put in an email.
  • An integration you can finish in one sitting. Set a cookie when someone arrives from a referral link, and call one endpoint when the order completes.
  • Only the features people actually reached for. Referral links, clicks, conversions, commission rules as a percentage or a fixed amount, and payouts. A custom landing page if you want one.

We called it Afflixo. It is deliberately smaller than what it replaced.

And the price had to be sane

The platforms we had used mostly started around a hundred dollars a month. That is a real line item for a small store or a bootstrapped SaaS, and it buys a lot of features that will never be switched on. So we went the other way: $9.9 a month, or $49.9 for a year. There is no "contact sales" step for the basic thing, and no feature gate designed to push you up a tier. New merchants get three months free first, which is long enough to find out whether the product is any use to you.

What you get

Your own program under your own slug, an affiliate sign-up page you can edit without a developer, referral links that track, and a dashboard that shows clicks, conversions, commission owed, and payouts. One API call from your backend when an order is done. Live Chat for your own site is in the same subscription rather than sold separately, which is the one thing we added beyond the original list, because every client asked for it anyway.

Afflixo will not fit everyone. If you need multi-tier commissions, a white-label domain per merchant, or automatic payouts through Stripe, it does not do those yet, and the home page lists what is missing before it lists what is there. If that list does not bother you, you can register as a merchant or look at pricing.
