I’ve lost count of how many affiliate and referral platforms we’ve wired into client sites. Post Affiliate Pro, FirstPromoter, Tapfiliate, custom in-house stuff—you name it. Every time, the same pattern: a huge dashboard, subdomains per brand, multi-level affiliate trees, and integration docs that never quite matched what we needed.
The stuff nobody actually needs
Don’t get me wrong—some of those tools are powerful. But for most of our clients (e‑commerce, SaaS, small marketplaces), we kept seeing the same thing: they used maybe 20% of the product. Referral links, cookie tracking, a commission rule, and payouts. That’s it. The rest—custom subdomains, 10-tier affiliate trees, A/B tests on referral pages—was noise. And the integration was always heavier than it needed to be: scripts, webhooks, duplicate order checks, custom dashboards.
So we built our own
We’re developers. When something bugs you enough times, you eventually scratch the itch. We wanted:
- One link per brand — no subdomains. Your program lives at
/domain/yoursite. Clean and easy to explain. - Simple integration — drop a script, set a cookie when someone comes from a referral link, and when the order completes you hit one API. No 50-step wizard.
- Only the features people use — referral links, clicks, conversions, commission rules (percentage or fixed), and payouts. Optional custom landing page. That’s 99% of what our clients ever asked for.
We called it Afflixo. Light version, but good enough for almost every real need we’d seen.
And the price had to be sane
Most of the affiliate platforms we’d used start around $99/month. For a small store or a bootstrapped SaaS, that’s a real line item. We wanted something that doesn’t make you wince when you add it to the stack. So we went the other way: $9.9/month or $49.9/year. No “contact sales” for the basics. No feature gates that push you to the $199 plan.
What you get
If you’ve been through the same integration headaches—subdomains, multi-level trees, docs that don’t match the UI—you’ll get it. With Afflixo you get your own program under your slug, your own affiliate signup page (with a simple editor if you want to customize it), referral links that actually work, and a straightforward dashboard. One conversion API call when the order is done. No bloat, no upsell theater. Just the stuff that actually ships referrals and pays affiliates.
If that sounds like what you’ve been looking for, you can register as a merchant or check pricing. We kept it simple on purpose.
